The Avon Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for the maintenance of the Avon Town Hall Park, Recreation and beautification in the Town of Avon. The Department is also responsible for administering the Town's urban forestry program as part of its Tree City USA Designation.

- Construction of Parking Lot north end of park. (complete)
- Installation of signage (Spring 2010) -Installation of two outdoor table tennis tables (Spring 2010)
- Design of Trail from US 36 to CR 100 S along White Lick Creek. Town received $665,000 Grant from the State. Design underway. Construction anticipated in 2010-2011.
