The Washington Township/Avon Fire Department offers AHA CPR/First Aid skills practice sessions. These sessions usually take about 30-45 minutes and will fulfill the requirements to complete your certification. All classroom learning is done online after registering at one of the links below. To complete your certification, you'll need to sign up for a skills check session to complete the hands-on portion of the certification.
Please see the information below to ensure you sign up and register online for the correct class.
Once you have completed your online learning, please register to attend a scheduled skills check session. Bring your certificate of completion when you arrive to your skills check appointment.
Certification cards are emailed within 24-48 hours after successful completion of BOTH the classroom portion and skills practice sessions.
HEARTSAVER CPR & AED
This class covers CPR (non Health Care Providers -HCP) It is for all ages and to learn the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
This option satisfies the requirements to renew a teaching license.
AFTER completing the online classroom portion of the certification, register below for a Skills Check Session to complete your certification and receiver your card.
**You will be re-directed to an online registration portal that is housed by the Washington Township Parks and Recreation. **You must first create an account and then complete the registration. **Once your account has been created, you will be able to register for any program of interest in the future.
