Avon Fire Department CPR Certification through American Heart Association (AHA) Courses:
Participants purchase the AHA on-line portion of the certification and we will provide the skill check off portion for certification.

- Heartsaver CPR AED – This course is for the public needing CPR certification.
- Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED – This course is for the public needing CPR and first aid certification.
- Heartcode BLS for healthcare providers – This course is for healthcare providers.
After completing the on-line portion of the AHA certification course, you may schedule a skills session for the completion of the certification. Sign up HERE (https://calendly.com/wtafd/cpr-skills-check) for skill session.
Once your skill session is scheduled, you will receive an emailed invoice for the cost of the skill session. The cost of the skill session includes the AHA Certification card. AHA Certification cards are emailed within 20 days of the skill session.
Skill sessions must be paid in advance of appointment. No Shows will forfeit $15 of the cost of the skill session. Rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance, will be charged an additional $15 for make-up session.
*The Heartsaver K-12 cards are only for K-12 school students, faculty, and staff who successfully complete an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver First Aid Course. “Faculty” refers to teachers and coaches; “staff” refers to an employee of a K-12 school, or K-12 school system. This does not include independent preschools or daycare providers (either in-home or commercial).
