The Washington Township Avon Fire Department offers to options for public CPR training:

FULL CLASSES and SKILLS CHECKS

The cost for either CPR training is $25 (or $5 for teachers), which covers the price of your certification card. These cards are emailed within 20 days after successful completion of the training experience.

American Heart Association (AHA) Notice:

The American Heart Association (AHA) strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.  Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA.  Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fee needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

FULL CLASSES
Full CPR classes are held the first Thursday of every month from 4:30-7:30pm and the second Monday from 12:00pm-3:00pm at our Headquarters.

Participants will be certified as American Heart Association's Heartsaver First Aid & CPR providers for all ages.

SKILLS CHECKS
Skills checks are 30-minute, appointment-based practical skills tests for those who have completed the online portion of either the AHA BLS or the AHA Heartsaver hybrid course.

AFTER completing one of the following online classroom portions, register HERE for a Skills Check Session to complete your certification and receive your card.
HEARTSAVER
These classes can cover as many or as little portions of the training options (CPR, First Aid, AED, Pediatrics, etc.) as you would like/need to complete. 

This option satisfies the requirements to renew a teaching license.
BLS for HCPs
This class is for HCPs
​(nurses, EMTs, doctors, etc.)

It is the AHA's two-year certification required for most HCP positions.
