WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP / AVON FIRE DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS
The Operations Division is the largest of four divisions within the Washington Township Avon Fire Department. Washington Township / Avon Fire Department is committed to providing an all-hazards response to the citizens on a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week basis.

The primary responsibilities of its personnel include:
  • All Hazards Response
  • Life Safety
  • Incident Stabilization
  • Advanced Life Support
  • Preservation of Property and the Environment

The Operations Division is comprised of personnel assigned to three 24-hour shifts and includes four fire stations and nine pieces of front-line apparatus including:
  • 4 Medic Units
  • 3 Engines
  • 1 Ladder Truck
  • 1 Battalion Chief
